Camden 5 months old!

It's hard to believe that the little Cam-jammer is already 5 months old!! By day he's the sweetest little boy and at night he turns into a little devil, he's a terrible sleeper. He's been a sick little boy for the last couple of months, mostly with respiratory issues. We are headed to see a pulmonologist on March 16, hope they can give us some answers as to what is going on. I feel like he's either got a milk protein in tolerance or acid reflux, something is not right with him. Can't wait to have some answers for the little guy!

Aruba Part 3

We took my Mom to our favorite resturant in Aruba called Simply Fish for her birthday. It's right on the beach and we arrived just in time for sunset. We each had an appetizer, fish entree and yummy dessert to share! It was a wonderful evening! Thanks to Chad and Kristy for watching the boys while we went out!

A trip around the lazy river.

Aruba Part 1

We had such an incredible time while we were in Aruba! We were thankful that Nana was able to join as having the extra set of hands was so nice. We spent most of the days in the lazy river or at the beach. The weather was perfect the whole time, sunny with a nice breeze...85!

Shuttle picked us up at 3:15 am, we got to the airport at 4:30am and Brody was so excited!

Brody's 2nd Birthday Bash

Brody turned 2 on Feb 6, I can't believe how fast 2 years has gone! He's so much fun these days, he's putting together 4 word sentences and talking like crazy. Every day we are amazed with his development.

So on to the party details...this year I had planned to have a smaller intimate gathering but as I started to plan I changed my mind. I love to entertain and now that we have small children we don't do that much so i can use the boys birthdays as an excuse to have a party. It was a jungle theme with all sorts of fun decor. We had some 40 guests including children and parents, because Brody's best time of day is in the morning we had the party from 9:30-11:30. We had a brunch spread which included egg bake, french toast sticks, bacon, fresh fruit, mini muffins and cinnamon rolls, oj, coffee, mimosas and bloody mary's. For dessert we had cupcakes adorned with the cutest fondant cupcake toppers of monkeys and giraffe's and a "candy bar" with M&M's, Mike and Ike's, Skittles and Puppy Chow to name a few.

Brody was spoiled rotten with all sorts of fun toys to keep him entertained for months! It was a great party and we are thankful to have shared it with so many friends!

I love this picture, this pretty much sums up how Brody feels when i get out the camera (he refuses to smile)! This was the night before his big birthday bash. They had a party for him at school and made this hat for him, he wore it from the time he got home from school until bath time...too cute!

Cam

Cam is as sweet as he can be these days...now 4 1/2 months. He's babbling, blowing raspberries and can roll both directions now. He's also drooling like crazy, which I have the feeling he's going to teeth early. Only downer for Cam is that he's been a sick little guy for about a month now. It all started with croup, then he got bronchitis, then right before vacation he got pink eye and now that we are back he's still got issues with his lungs. We took him back to the doctor and were sent home with a nebulizer. We go back on Monday and I'm hopeful that things have finally cleared up. Because he has been sick we haven't been able to get him on a good sleep schedule, so once he's well we are going to have do some sleep training as both Jason and I are exhausted!

Camden 4 Months Old

Our once colicky baby is as sweet as he can be now!! He's so much fun...he's smiling and has a great belly laugh when you tickle him. He loves to watch Big Brother Brody as well as Dolly the cat, he's very alert taking it all in. A couple weeks ago he had croup, which was no fun at all. He continues to have a cough and yesterday they said he had bronchitus, poor little peanut can't catch a break. I guess that's what happens when you mix daycare and winter. He's growing like a weed and a much bigger boy than Brody was, he's already weighing in at 15lbs 8.5oz and is 26inches long. Won't be long and he'll out weigh Brody!
